Offered in either black or white, both shoes feature a leather upper and are lined with an upcycled wool and lyocell sock liner. Making a futuristic statement, both shoes feature a puffy two-piece removable toe cover and outer shaft, which is stamped with the designer’s name.
Commenting on the decision to go with a leather shoe as opposed to the traditional Ugg suede, Oliver told Vogue, “The cool girls at my school were always buying the baby pinks and blues. For me, I found secondhand ones and wore them with ripped jeans. The wear and tear of them felt really cool and weathered. That’s why I did leather instead of suede; it felt aged already.”
Priced at $300 and $450, both silhouettes will launch exclusively on ugg.com at 12:00 PM EST on December 1, 2022.
