Paris-based Abra led by Abraham Ortúno Perez turned heads with his spring 2025 collection, titled “H2O: Just Add Water.” Held during Paris Fashion Week, the four-year-old label drew inspiration from “Hannah Montana,” a mid-2000s teen sitcom starting Miley Cyrus, presenting a collection further solidifying Perez as one of fashion’s rising talents to watch.
The result was a playful line of clothing and accessories exuding summer vibes but with an artful edge. Notable highlights included handbags and shoes inspired by everyday shopping bags, reflecting Perez’s reputation for commenting on practical design with a sense of humor. The collection also introduced a fringed Adidas Superstar sneaker silhouette.
Perez was born and raised in Alicante, Spain, a province known for footwear manufacturing, particularly the city of Elche. In addition to his own label, Perez is known for collaborating for French labels Jacquemus, Paco Rabanne, Coperni, and Loewe for which he designed a broken egg sandal.
