Brooklyn-based Beer Canvas has tapped artist Alice Mizrachi for its latest series of glasses featuring the work of select creatives. Mizrachi’s glass features a depiction of Mother Nature on one side and on the opposite side a quote reading, “Mother Nature speaks to us through every flower.”
In addition to the glass, there’s also a collectors set, which includes the glass along with a five inch by seven inch water color.
Weighing in on the effort via email, Mizrachi explained, “During this quarantine I’ve been able to reflect and study my work and what kind of artists I am and want to be. I feel a deeper connection to my environment and wanted to honor Mother Nature for this project. I’m hoping that this virus will help humanity respect our Earth more by being more responsible and sustainable in our consumption. The quote is one I thought was fitting for this design. “
