Skims Dips Into Calvin Klein’s Bag For Minimalist Campaign Starring Cardi B

Skims has tapped music creative Cardi B to headline a campaign for a 20-piece cotton capsule. Taking a page from Calvin Klein‘s minimlist campaigns of yore, images and video shot by longtime-Skims photographer Vanessa Beecroft center Cardi against a monochromatic backdrop. Similar to Calvin Klein ads, Cardi speaks to the viewer, whispering, “Everybody’s wearing Skims, are you?”

Prior to Cardi B, Skims tapped “Sex & the City” actress Kim Cattrel. Other celebrities include SZA, Ice Spice, Kate Moss, Precious Lee, Rosalía, Brooke Shields and Teyana Taylor, among others.

Priced from $18-$78, Skims cotton/spandex capsule will launch on October 19, 2023 at 9:00 AM PST on skims.com.

Located at 50 Prince Street, near Mulberry Street, this new addition joins a vibrant retail block alongside @242mulberry, @standardandstrange, @osswaldnyc, and @aimeleondore, among others.

Previously Stüssy's retail store in New York was located on 176 Spring street, and is now the Denim Tears African Diaspora Goods store.

These jeans were showcased during his Celine fashion show on June 23, 2019."
