A building offering luxury-priced dorm rooms meant for students attending university in Hong Kong opened early this summer and quickly found itself at full capacity. Each slickly-designed 660 sq. ft. rooms sleeps up to four and features built in bunk beds, shelves and desks with a small bathroom, dining room plus a Ferrari refrigerator whose bright red color contrasts with the neutral color themes of the room.
Called Campus HK, the 48 dorm rooms were built in the first three floors of an existing building and similar to a hostel, a bed can be booked on a daily basis or longer term though at the high-end price of about $4,000 total per month. Fees include electricity, water and a “Campus Guru” concierge service. Other facilities include a communal lounge decorated with graffiti art plus access to the hotel’s gym, waterfront swimming pool and sun terrace. Read more at Wallpaper magazine.
