Under the new design management of Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, DKNY has been shifted in a decidedly more current direction. Or perhaps, the Public School designers have brought the label back to its roots, themed on the idea of creating a handful of classic pieces capable of dominating a woman’s daily wardrobe choices.
Resort finds the duo showing pieces that remain athletic and minimal, but reflect an expansion on a relaxed sizing aesthetic that is slowly but surely making all things body-con seem dated and tired. DKNY has always been about a good monochromatic color story, including and especially black, but for resort the collection also includes offerings in of-the-moment beige and green.
