There is no denying Allessandro Michele’s aesthetic has made Gucci hot again.This latest collaboration with directional retailer Dover Street Market more than ever sets the tone for Gucci to expand its reach and solidify its presence beyond the traditional luxury channels. Of course it also enables Dover Street Market to build buzz by partnering with a very desirable brand.
The Gucci x DSM capsule collection includes four menswear pieces labeled with a special Gucci red label, including a cotton embroidered sweatshirt, flannel shirt, flannel pants and an embroidered denim jacket.
They’re all very cool and lust-worthy and make us wonder if Michele has considered partnering with a fast fashion retailer. Is an H&M x Gucci capsule with the realm of the possible?
