The obsession with all over luxury logos continues to grow with the latest entry speaking to the trend offered by New York and Detroit-based customiser Super Kreep, who has revealed images of an Air Force 1 and Converse collaboration with Brooklyn-based customiser Doodooka. These shoes are now available for purchase at VFiles (in-store only). As well, some other custom apparel can be purchased on Super Kreep’s Depop store.
On the topic of luxury logos, while Nike has tapped Ricardo Tisci of Givenchy, Olivier Routsteing of Balmain and Kim Jones of Louis Vuitton for collaborative collections, the partnerships were with the designer and thus, none of the items featured the logos of the designers’ respective labels.
We can’t help but dream, thinking of Nike or even better, Adidas, collaborating with piping hot designer Allessandro Michele AND the Gucci label. Certainly Michele has shown an affinity for street-inspired designs, as well a willingness to collaborate so you have to figure the interest is there.
