As shot by Moni Haworth, New York label MadeMe’s lookbook for fall 2016 emphasizes fashion as a product of its environment, not so much elevated and pristine, but rather nuanced, textured and at turns both ugly and beautiful, much like the people who wear and create it.
As always, the Erin Magee-designed line is pared down to just a half a dozen or so items made special through color choices, fabrics, and prints. For her first drop for fall, there are jewel-colored bombers plus a long-sleeved top featuring a ’70s-era “Earth Crisis” geometric print, “World Peace” faded jeans and a to-die for handmade-looking crocheted sweater.
