With sport joggers jogging off into the sunset of fashion trends and even denim feeling a bit faded, G-Star‘s co-owner and Head of Imagination, Pharrell Williams, has comed to the rescue with a fresh interpretation of the brand’s classic Elwood silhouette. Constructed from a lightweight twill, the Elwood X-25’s biggest appeal is the wide array of graphics they’re offered in, ranging from far out flowers to punk plaids and checkers and even black and white prison stripes.
The collection was shown on day one at ComplexCon where Pharrell was on hand, posing within a circular installation that was covered with curtains until he made his appearance. When the curtains were drawn back, the collection was shown suspended from the ceiling against a backdrop mimicking a mountain valley pasture, replete with grass and wild flowers.
There is no info yet on pricing, but this collection will hit retail in mi-February 2017.
