Known for an avant garde approach, Croatian-born and Milan-based designer Damir Doma unveiled a collaboration with Lotto Sport Italia during the label’s Spring 2018 runway show in Milan.
On the significance of the partnership, Doma told Amica magazine,”I was born in the early ’80s and already Lotto was one of the most important figures in the world of sportswear. Today Lotto is a brand that looks to the future with an innovative approach to the sports world. A brand with a glorious past, worn by the greatest sports stars of all time, in the world of tennis and football, as Dino Zoff and Boris Becker. It is indeed a great honor to add my name to the Lotto logo.
“Me and my team are from the archives of brand parties and we have drawn the most iconic pieces, the ones that I remembered with more affection. This collaboration was born from the will of both parties. We wanted to create a selection of sporty garments to be attached to our offer of ready-to-wear. I am sure that this partnership will continue to evolve even in the coming seasons. ”
Comprised of a sleek assortment of track pants, jackets and sweatshirts emblazoned with Lotto Sport’s ribbon graphic and the Damir Doma logo, the 28-piece, unisex collection also includes footwear.
