Model Duckie Thot aka Nyadak Thot is having quite the fabulous year. Fresh off of her inclusion in Pirelli’s 2018 Alice in Wonderland-themed calendar not to mention an appearance in Rihanna‘s stunning Paper magazine feature, she just landed her first Vogue editorial, an 18-page spread shot by Nicole Bentley in Australia Vogue‘s August issue.
“When I decided I wanted to take on modelling professionally, shooting for Vogue was ALWAYS at the top of my list.,” wrote Thot in a post on Instagram. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart [Australia Vogue] for helping me cross that off!! I grew up reading Australian Vogue & watching my [favorite] fashion films with my girlfriends back home. Just wow… what an [honor].”
Born in Melbourne, Thot first splashed on the model scene as a contestant on cycle 8 of Australia’s Next Top Model in 2013. And while Thot was eliminated in the second-to-last round, her career trajectory since the show has placed her among the franchise’s most successful alumni.
