Update: Looking at sell-out times, it looks like the plant and candle t-shirt were big hits. And while we HATE the blood and semen stuff, two of the Vans sneakers featuring the print were in the top 10 list of fastest sell out times, though none of the clothes were so ha!
At the same time, we described the Playboy varsity jacket as a yawner and it also was top 10. On that note, the zig zag beanies were still sitting at 11:30 EST so that was a flop prediction for us, and for that matter, so was The Decline of Western Civilization t-shirt, which sat on the site all day and may even be available as we speak.

Before we begin this week’s review, should those New Era headbands every reappear, they are granted immediate top status. There’s been more questions about where they are than anything that’s actually being sold in week five.
Supreme‘s week No. 5 drop once again puts the mettle of its fans to the test. Last week it was risque “fuck you”-covered Hysteric Glamour items and this week it’s shirt covered in Andres Serrano semen and blood graphics, which make the urine-soaked crucifix graphic tame in comparison.
While Serrano is a great photographer and perfect for Supreme given his New York roots and penchant for controversy, the graphics are just aesthetically disgusting. As such, the entire collabo gets a hard HELL NO from us. Well wait, the “Madonna” and “Piss Christ” t-shirt ($44) actually are decent in large part because the images are dope and you can’t tell they’re immersed in urine.
As for social media, the Playboy varsity jacket ($400) is garnering mentions, but it’s seems pretty boring actually.
What’s good? The winter t-shirts ($34) are dope, especially the one featuring a candle and also the one with a oddly solitary houseplant. Shout out to the one with a photo graphic of Black Flag singer Ron Reyes from punk documentary The Decline of Western Civilization, too.
Also, the zig-zag striped beanie ($32) is adorable! If you really want a top, the long-sleeved, over-dye -shirts ($78) is decent, but the vertical logo is annoying. Overall, slim pickings!
The online drop will occur on September 21, 2017 at 11:00 BST for the European site and 11:00 EST for the U.S. site. Physical stores in New York, Los Angeles, London and Paris open at 11:00 local time. The collection goes live in Japan on September 23rd.
