Rihanna has been giving us a lot lately. Leaving aside the detective hunt her fan base is on in regards to the realness of her relationship with Drake, she just appeared in a CR Fashion Book shoot and at the same provided a sly reveal of the footwear to be featured in her upcoming Paris Fashion Week show.
Continuing to go about her fashion business, her most ardent fans are saying the fur boot she was spotted wearing (below) in New York this past week are an early reveal of her next (as of yet unannounced) Manolo Blahnik capsule. Earlier this summer while in London, she was spotted in a pair of over-the-knee black jacquard Manolos featuring a fur cuff (below), also said to be a sneak peek.
Manolo Blahnik’s current offerings do not include any furry boots like the ones Rihanna has been spotted in, though the white pair resembles Manolo’s popular Pregga lace up boot, which featured a fur tongue.
It’s important to remember neither Blahnik nor Rihanna ever said their first capsule would be there last so a second capsule is possible. Plus, it entirely is Rihanna’s m.o. to give glimpses of product before it’s either officially announced or launched. She did that with both the Puma creepers and the furry slides. Rihanna and her paps in case anyone hasn’t noticed literally are a walking marketing campaign for her various and sundry fashion ventures. It seems at this point all that’s missing is the official announcement by Vogue (maybe Paris this time since she’s holding her runway there), accompanied by yet another cover.
