Reigning Champ Shows Love To The Ladies With Its First Women’s Assortment

Known for its sleek design and quality garments, Vancouver- based Reigning Champ introduces its first women’s collection this winter. Comprised of six silhouettes, the collection is made in Canada with an emphasis on fit, detailing and durability, all qualities that has made Reigning Champ a staple.

Established in 2007 by Wings and Horns designer Craig Atkinson Reigning Champ has collaborated with Adidas, Major League Soccer, Asics Tiger, The NBA and converse.

The line of tees, hooded sweaters and sweatpants will be available in black, heather grey and navy on Tuesday November 21, 2017 at reigningchamp.com.

We see you Gap!!! Gap and Cult Gaia have announced a 35-piece women's and kids capsule, merging Gaia’s chic, feminine aesthetic with the storied retailer's timeless classics.

“Reimagining Gap’s classic icons through Cult Gaia’s lens has been an amazing journey.
The collaboration brought together Gap’s classics and everyday wearability with Cult Gaia’s sculptural and artistic approach, merging our two distinct creative forces,” said the label's dedigner Jasmin Larian Hekmat.

"Each piece in this collection is thoughtfully designed to inspire creativity, blending art and function in a way that feels unique and timeless.”

The collection includes a knit cardigans, faux-fur coat, cutout maxi dress, wool trench coat and chain-link-detailed slip dress, among other items.

Ranging in price from $35-$498, Gap and Cult Gaia's collection will launch October 10th at 12 PM EST on gap.com and at select Gap stores.

With “Lambón”, Medrano challenges the audience to reflect on their roles in the pursuit of creativity and its potential for exploitation and repetition, asking: “Will you be a leader, or a lambón?” In this context, “lambón” is a Dominican term meaning “moocher" or "freeloader.".

In summary, Medrano describes the retrospective as “a celebration for the girls like me, the kids like me, the people like me.”

Lambón is on view at @wsanyc until November 2nd, 2024.
