Rihanna arrived in New York from a trip to London last week, but she wasn’t seen anywhere until two days before the Grammy Awards. She didn’t attend the Roc Nation pre-Grammy brunch, took no trips to her fave restaurants, nada! As such, the Navy was pretty excited when she began to pop up in advance of the show.
If case you missed any of her activities, here’s an obsessive timeline of Rihanna and all of her activities related to the 60th Grammy Awards.
The night before the event, Rihanna thrills fans when she rolls up to Madison Garden for rehearsals, sporting flames from head to toe. She’s wearing a Jun Jie fur coat, Isabel Marant corset, Vetements platform boots and Jillian Zhong “Meteor” shades.

Rihanna arrives at Madison Square Garden and receives a big hug from DJ Khaled, who she will perform with later. From this point forward, we know all her looks are styled by Mel Ottenberg, who is known for handling her red carpet and on-stage looks.
You can’t see it in the Khaled video, but underneath, she’s looking like an iconic Hollywood movie star, wearing a Norma Kamali puffer coat, Dolce & Gabbanna slip dress and Gianvito Rossi mules. (Style details for this look via @hausofrihanna.) We’re not sure if this is simply her arrival look or what she planned to wear on the red carpet but then chose not to walk for whatever reason.

Rihanna performs “Wild Thoughts” with DJ Khaled and Bryson Tiller. She wears a custom, crystal-embellished slip dress by her go-to guy Adam Selman who’s dressed Rihanna on numerous occasions, most famously her CFDA Swarovski crystal, see through dress.
While Rihanna attends the Grammy Awards with her bestie, Melissa Forde, she links with her beau, Hassan Jameel, to attend an after party at 10ak. While not photographed together, Jameel dips out first and is besieged by paparazzi. Rihanna follows not long after.
