Paris label Y/Project showed a women’s collection for fall 2018 that stayed themed elevating the familiar into something fresh and cool.
Designer Glenn Martens made an especially big statement with Ugg boots, showing an extreme over-the-knee version of the comfort staple as well as a knee-high version and a mule, both featuring a stiletto heel.
“Even though the brand is really versatile, and we often use men’s pieces, we wanted to make the Uggs ultra feminine for women. That’s why why we added the high heel,” Martens told Footwear News following the presentation.
