Snobette Sounds: Best New Music By Women In October

November 1, 2018. Leave a Comment

October was a great month for music. There were so many great tracks by female artists released that we decided to up the song cap from the usual 25 to 50 this month. The baddest bitch Trina really showed out. Her multiple song entries mark the first time I’ve included three tracks by the same artist in the same month.

Since launching Snobette Sounds in January (follow the playlist on Spotify), each month I’ve hunted down the best singles by women to include in the list. With the column picking up steam along with an uptick in submissions, we’re going to make things easier for everyone. If you’d like your track to be considered, post the link to the track on Twitter with the hashtag #SnobetteSounds. The only requirement is that it has to have been released during that month to be considered and of course it must be a track by a woman or a female-led band.

We’re also taking submissions for “Best Bad Bitch Anthems” of 2018 playlist as well. Just post a track on Twitter using the hashtag #SnobetteBB. The deadline is December 15, 2018 and the list will go live on December 26th to give you plenty of time to enter the new year feeling like the baddest bitch ever!

As always, if you can’t wait until next month for new music be sure to follow me, Eb the Celeb, on Twitter @EbtheCeleb as well as my frequently-updated Bad Bitch Anthems playlist.

According to a recent TMZ update, crime scene video has emerged showing a white car rolling up on the dog walker. Two men emerge from the vehicle and one, who is brandishing a gun, tells the dog walker, "Give it up."

The dog walker put up a fight (!!) before the gun goes off, striking him in the chest. The two thiefs each grab one dog and flee the scene. In the video, the black dog shown here, whose name is Asia, manages to escape and is shown running back to the fallen dog walker.

Gaga, who is currently in Rome working on a project, is currently offering at $500,00 award for the safe return of Koji and Gustav (on the slide). The dog walker was hospitalized but thankfully will recover.
