The North Face and HYKE have dropped a lookbook highlighting 2019 offerings first shown on the Tokyo-based label’s spring runway presentation. Known for its super clean, monochromatic approach, the black and tan capsule consists of an anorak, poncho, pullover shirt, skirts, t-shirts and arm warmers, all of which are emblazoned with The North Face’s logo. In a change from prior collections, the spring 2019 collection includes a couple of pieces designed for men.
The two labels have produced two prior capsules both of which were very well received. For whatever reason the two brands when combined, like any good working partnership, create something that feels entirely fresh and appealing.
The collection is available for pre-sale in Japan on February 6, 2019 and be launched more widely oon February 13th (details here). Sadly, the collection won’t be sold outside of Japan so will be tough to get a hold of.
