It’s been a good year for Nike apparel and part of the secret sauce has been the brand’s willingness to take an edgier approach with color and print stories.
The latest example is NikeCourt Paris’ summer capsule, a collection of performance apparel and accessories featuring graphics inspired by 18th century toile prints. While sneaker-wearing skeleton might not spring to mind when one thinks of Nike, the print works not only because it’s because it’s beautifully executed but also unexpected.
In addition to the skeletal Macabre Toile print, there are also pieces featuring a Dark Flora and Fleur de Bee print.
Items are priced from $30 for a woman’s tank or men’s t-shirt up to $120 for a men’s tennis jacket. The NikeCourt Paris collection launches on nike.com on May 20, 2019.
