Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty fashion show took over New York Fashion Week with a splashy presentation held at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Tuesday night (September 10, 2019). The event featured choreographed dance routines as well as music performances by Halsey, Migos, DJ Khaled, Fat Joe, Big Sean, A$AP Ferg, Tierra Whack and Fabolous, all of whom were watched by an audience jam-packed with celebrities.

In an effort to maximize interest in Amazon Prime’s upcoming broadcast of the event, all recording devices at the event were prohibited with the exception of red carpet coverage by professional photographers.

Rihanna made her grand appearance on the red carpet where she wore a Swarovsky-crystal covered, one-sleeve dress by Alexandre Vauthier. The Bajan Boos reappeared at the open of the show in a black velvet skirt worn over a full-body catsuit. She was backed up by a crew of professional dancers whose moves were choreographed by Paris

Models who walked the show included Cara Delevingne, Alex Wek, Aquaria, 21 Savage, Slick Woods, Normani, Paloma Elsesser, Christian Combs, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Laverne Cox and Joan Smalls, among many others.

The Savage X Fenty show will stream on Amazon Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories on September 20, 2019.
