Barack Obama’s 2019 Music Faves Include Summer Walker, Solange, Snoh Alegra And More

Former President Barack Obama continues to publish his best-of picks for 2019 with his latest “Favorite Music of 2019” list. His final list includes 35 singles made up of new additions plus some of the songs included on his mid-year, summer playlist.

Obama posted the list on social media where he wrote, “From hip-hop to country to The Boss, here are my songs of the year. If you’re looking for something to keep you company on a long drive or help you turn up a workout, I hope there’s a track or two in here that does the trick.”

New additions include Summer Walker: “Playing Games,” Big Thief: “Not,” Kaytranada ft. SIA: “Go DJ,” The HighWomen: “Redesigning Women,” Burna Boy: “Anybody,” Ozuna ft. Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, Farruko and Anuel AA: “Baila, Baila, Baila (Remix),” Adia Victoria: “Different Kind of Love,” Mavis Staples: “Change,” Oblivons: ” The National,” Solange: “Binz,” J. Cole: “Middle Child,” Angelica Garcia: “Jicama,” Angelique Kidjo: “La Vida Es Un Carnival,” Alicia Keyes ft. Miguel: “Show Me Love,” Prateek Kuhad: “cold/mess,” DaBaby: “Suge,” Bruce Springsteen: “Sunshine,” Frank Ocean: “In My Room,” Young Thug ft. J. Cole and Travis Scott: “The London,” Lesthegenius ft. Sonny Miles and Jaxson Free: “Raleighwood Hills,” Mustard ft. Migos: “Pure Water,” Dominic Fike: “3 Nights,” Joe Henry: “The Fact of Love,” Snoh Aalegra: “I Want You Around” and Wale ft. Jeremih: “On Chill.”
