Houston-born rapper Megan thee Stallion is showing signs she’s recovering from the early morning fracas that left her with two gunshot wounds with each of her feet.
Following the release of Cardi B‘s “WAP,” a song she’s featured in, Megan took took to Instagram where she let her fan base know she’s on the market for a new girlfriend.
“I’m a free agent on the lady’s side. I’m looking for a new girlfriend if anybody trying to be a hot girl,” she noted.
Making it very clear she has a specific physical type in mind, she added, “I like little petite things with tattoos, that’s my type. Bitch, that’s my type. I like Spanish girls with big ole asses. Petite black girls and thick Spanish girls.”
Megan expressing interest in women isn’t a news flash. In interviews and in song lyrics, she’s been open about her sexual fluidity. In an April 2020 interview with British Vogue, she explained, “I mean, you know I kissed a few girls before. We not scared of the ladies. It’s all love.”
As well, in her single “Captain Hook” from her Suga EP, Megan raps about “texting with a bi chick.” She was also spotted getting cozy with Indyamarie in June 2019 and at the time asked her fans on Instagram Live if they’d approve her dating the model/musician.
Whether or not her new single status has anything to do with the shooting incident status isn’t clear. Her friend, Kelsey Nicole, was with her when the shooting went down and when Megan went on Instagram Live for the first time following the event she stated, “I just felt very betrayed by a friend. I felt betrayed by all my friends.”
Following Megan’s Instagram Live statement, Nicole appeared to respond on Instagram Stories where she wrote, “Respect my absence, Those that need to be in communication with me are in communication with me. Only reason y’all get this post is cuz when certain things are said y’all speculate me & Ive let it slide more than a few times.”
In addition to finding a new boo thing, Megan is staying busy with her new role as global ambassador for Revlon.
