Dr. Martens has tapped designer Marc Jacobs to help the British boot company celebrate the 60th anniversary of its eight-eyelet 1460 boot silhouette. There’s history between the two labels with Jacobs having partnered with the boot company 27 years ago.

Among the charms is a cameo, whistle, dice, Statue of Liberty and crystal heart, among other items.
Jacobs the designer is a vegan and so is his boot, which is offered in a burgundy colorway. Additionally the tongue is co-branded with the Dr. Martens and Marc Jacobs name.
This will be Dr. Martens’ ninth effort celebrating the 1460 boot. Prior collaborations include efforts with streetwear labels Needles and A-Cold-Wall*, A Bathing Ape, Raf Simons, Hello Kitty, Michael Basquiat
