New York-based label Pyer Moss has announced its second Exist to Resist fundraising effort, a Vote or Die For Real this Time over-sized white t-shirt made in collaboration with Sean John. While the front of the t-shirt is printed with the Vote or Die message, the back includes a black and white graphic along with the words, The Promise of America.

The t-shirt is part of an effort to amplify the efforts of Rock the Vote, a non-profit founded in 1990 dedicated to building the political power of young people.

Sean John founder Sean Combs debuted the Vote or Die t-shirt in 2004 as part of a nationwide voter registration. Pyer Moss first debuted a Vote or Die t-shirt made in collaboration with Sean John on its fall 2019 runway presentation. The label added on For Real This Time as a reminder that staying home during any election is no longer an option.

Pyer Moss’ Exist to Resist platform was started earlier this year by label founder, Kerby Jean-Raymond with a goal of placing a spotlight on organizations working to improve social justice. As part of the effort, the label has created limited edition drops whose sales will be donated to the organization. The debut Exist to Resist effort highlighted The Innocence Project.

Proceeds from the sale of the t-shirt will be donated to Rock the Vote. Those who haven’t yet, can register to vote via pyermoss.com/pages/rock-the-vote.

Pyer Moss’ Vote or Die for Real this Time t-shirt will drop on September 22, 2020 at 12:00 PM EST on pyermoss.com.
