SZA ended the week on a high note with the release of an official visual for “Good Days,” a platinum single that’s spent nine week’s on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
Directed by Solána Rowe herself, the visual begins by panning in on a bowl full of mushrooms. The video segues to a fauna-filled scene in which SZA is rooted (literally) among a field of mushrooms.
Flexing a an incredibly fit body, SZA alternates between a modern dance performance in the greenery and an oh-so-graceful poll-dance performance in a room filled with books.
Commenting on the trippy video, on Twitter SZA noted, “POV : I’m a plant living growing and dying .. also on shrooms.”
Much like “Hit Different” ended with the “Good Days” outro, the visual ends with an outro for “Shirt” or “Bloodstains,” whatever title SZA eventually settles on.
