Music creative Frank Ocean has announced the launch of Homer, a luxury-price label whose debut collection features fine jewelry and silk scarves. The news was accompanied by an 84-page catalog, accessible on line and also by mail. The cover of the catalog was designed and photographed by Ocean with additional imagery shot by photographer Tyrone Lebon.

Reflecting on the launch on Instagram stories, Ocean wrote, “Hand on my heart, this collection has kept my mind moving and my imagination turning throughout it all. All of my work now is dedicated to my family. Everything. My hope is to make things that last, that are hard to destroy, set it in stone. I’m so fucking happy for everyone involved and I’m happy for you and proud of you and couldn’t have done it without you.

Thanking the individuals involved and noting the project was three years in the making, he added, “A.P., Michael, Nile, Allie, Tone (happy birthday!!, Evan, Tracy, David, Tommy, Juliana, Charlie, Jake, Ysham, Keisha the whole house. Everybody who came to California when we had no lights and no chairs or desks and built this all from nothing with me. I wanna say thank you for believing in my vision and taking part in this story from the bottom of my heart This is 3 years in the making and there is so so much I’m excited to share with all you strangers. Love.”

According to Variety, offerings were designed by Homer’s team based in New York City while the diamonds are produced in the label’s U.S. based production facility with products handmade in Italy. Taking queues from anime and video games, the playful, colorful designs are described as inspired by “childhood obsessions” and “heritage as a fantasy.”

Pricing ranges from $230 for the silk scarf up to $471,900 for a jewel-covered “High Energy” necklace. Offerings are available to purchase by appointment only at the Homer store, located at 70-74 Bowery in Manhattan. Abstaining from an online store, global orders can only be made by calling or messaging the store on Signal at +1 212-410 3300.

The store will open on August 9, 2021. Hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday and 10:00 AM-5:00 PM on Saturday.
