It’s Telfar season and we are here for it! Fresh off of launching Tefar TV and introducing a new duffle silhouette, the Brooklyn-based brand has introduced a puffer capsule made in collaboration with Moose Knuckles. The assortment features features a puffer Shopper in three sizes plus multiple puffer jacket silhouettes, puffer pants and a puffer headband. All three bags and most of the outerwear pieces are black, though some are offered in a pearl white.
While the entire collection was produced by the Winnipeg, Canada-based Moose Knuckles, 17 pieces are co-branded, while six styles are branded exclusively with the Telfar logo, including the medium-sized Shopping Bag. With the exception of the Shopping Bag, the entire collection makes use of duck down and some pieces also use lambskin and fox fur.
Commenting on the effort, Telfar creative director Telfar Clemens told Vogue, “I want everybody to have this coat. I want you to get confused, like you took the wrong coat home from a party because everybody has this coat. Getting a coat is really hard sometimes. We wanted a coat that everyone is going to have for a while. It’s the beginning of our outerwear journey.”
Staying innovative, Telfar recently made some marketing moves by introducing a small Shopper in a new sage color on the season five debut episode of “Insecure.”
Priced from $85 for a headband up to $4,300 for a lambskin pea coat, Telfar and Moose Knuckles puffer capsule will launch on November 1, 2021 on shop.telfar.net and mooseknucklescanada.com. Select styles will then launch at Saks Fifth Avenue, Holt Renfrew, Ssense, and Galeries Lafayette on November 8th.
Note: The large nylon Shopper launched on October 25th and is sold out.
