In between hammering Adidas‘s business practices and executives, Ye took some time out over the weekend to express appreciation for various music creatives. Weighing in on Beyoncé‘s recently-released Renaissance album, Ye selected “Church Girl” as his favorite single.
Next up Ye named “Wait for You” featuring Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, John Legend and Fridayy from DJ Khaled‘s album God Did as the song of the year, alongside Future‘s single “Wait for You” featuring Tems.
Providing the highest of compliments, Ye called out Nigerian artist Wizkid‘s “Essence” single featuring Tems as the “best song in the history of music to date.”
Ye also bigged up The Game, noting that his collaborative efforts with the Los Angeles based rapper “never miss,” adding, “Just like me and Pusha.”
