October 27, 2022 update: Bronx-born rapper Ice Spice has announced she’s dropping new single “Bikini Bottom on October 28, 2022. The song features a sample inspired by music from “Spongebob Squarepants.” Fans of the rapper can save the song on Spotify of Apple Music here.

Rapper Ice Spice took to Tiktok yesterday (October 11, 2022) where she released a new song snippet. Sporting her signature orange curls and a black crop top, the Bronx born rapper twerked while providing a preview of a song highlighting her distinctly laid back flow.
Several commenters on social media noted the song appears to sample a tune frequently used on animated series “Spongebob Squarepants.” In response to a commenter on TikTok who wrote “Spongebob tune,” Ice Spice (real name Isis Gaston) wrote, “It’s called bikini bottom,” a reference to an underwater city that is the main setting for “SpongeBob SquarePants.”
Ice Spice as of late has been making nice with fellow Bronx rapper Cardi B (real name Belcalis Almánzar), who dropped a remix of her viral song “Munch.” Ice Spice also attended Cardi’s 30th birthday held in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.
Ice Spice hasn’t provided any further details on when the new song might be relaced but you can check out the snippet below.
