Following well-received collaborations with Travis Scott and Cactus Plant Flea Market, McDonald’s continues its streetwear-alligned partnerships with the reveal of an effort with London-based Palace Skateboards, which teased the effort with a Times Square billboard. Offerings include a hoodie in three colors and three t-shirts designs along with a skateboard deck and a ring among other items.
The effort with Palace is part of McDonald’s “As Featured In” campaign, which celebrates the brand’s appearances in films, TV shows and songs. In the case of Palace, the brand has featured the ubiquitous fast food restaurant in skate highlight visuals.
Offered in two parts, the first drop will launch on August 14, 2023 at McDonald’s restaurants where customers who purchase 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, a Quarter Pounder with Cheese or a Big Mac Sandwich can scan a code on the packaging to purchase pieces from the line. On the same date, Palace will take over the first McDonald’s restaurant, loacted in Downey, California, with a shop-in-shop store where shoppers can buy the merchandise in person.
McDonald’s and Palace skate decks and other items will launch on August 25th online as well as in Palace’s flagships stores in London, New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo.
