If you’re a member of the Itty Bitty Titty & Proud club, for the most part, you’re happy with your cup size. Sure, some days you may feel more envy than admiration for the woman with bountiful bosoms and neck turning cleavage but the moment passes and you remember all the pluses of small boobs, like fewer issues with fitting into tops, not having to manage bounce when working out and best of all, not having to wear a bra at all if you don’t feel like it. Plus, since smaller boobs are literally less bodacious, there is more room for them be seen without causing a scene, whether in the form of some “innocent” side boob or barely concealed by a dope bra worn under a gauzy top.
Those on the hunt for bras that combine fashion with a sporty street edge know a few things. First, most bras are designed for larger cup sizes and even when they’re sized down, they’re usually still doing too much in terms of padding, coverage and in the case of sports bras compression. Lord knows an A cup size is small enough, with a lot of sports bras, they’re borderline squished and uni-boobed into non existence. No thanks.
Keeping all these factors in mind, here are 13 of our favorite bras. All of them have that design edge we like, won’t give you squished uni-boob, can make a fashion statement peaking out from under a skimpy top and in most cases can handle a workout. The downside is that they’re all on the costly side with the two lowest priced, an American Apparel and Calvin Klein bra priced at $29.99. Yes, there are cheaper options out but we prefer to give nods to the originators, plus, let’s face it, with lingerie you get what you pay for. Having worn copycat garments from retailers like H&M and Urban, the reality is those items don’t hold up as long or have other issues like fabrics that don’t hold up and itchy seams.
All three of these Adidas items are actually swimsuits that include removable foam padding, though if you possess a smaller cup size, bras don’t necessarily have to be born that way. Above, Adidas Iconic Bionic: $54

American Apparel has always been good to the itty bitties of the world. This bra is the Tricot Bralette, priced at $29. Beware though, there are sometimes issues with itchy seams with American Apparel lingerie.
The street savvy Bedford Street Laundry label combines mesh & reflective tape (also available in black): $75
Calvin used to be a friend of the small cup club but abandoned it when it became a Victoria’s Secret wannabe years ago. That said, with ’90s themes raging back, you can’t go wrong with this logo bralette. Available in multiple colors and priced at $29
For Love and Lemons is most definitely a good friend to the Itty Bitty Club and while this Bondage bralette price at $73 (the brand’s best selling bra) looks complicated, the fit is both amazing and comfortable.
Lululemon always has a good selection of bras that won’t compress and squish; this one is called the Live Natural and it comes in three colors: $52.
Upside bra for $75, can’t vouch for the fit, but love the cut and the leopard, plus it’s available in xxs so you know the brand has love for the less endowed.
Prae makes beautiful, high quality silk garments capable of being worn as either undergarments or tops in and of themselves. This look is from the Autumn 2015 collection, Pricing starts at $165 and sizing is on the petite side of things.
Slim Jawn insanely sexy mesh strap bra: $61
Underprotection is a Denmark company that combines unique design with sustainable fabrics. This $55 camo bra is made from a bamboo jersey and features an open front closure.
VPL‘s sharp design aesthetic has been copied by just about everyone, but the brand still manages to rise above the fray. Priced around $95, the Insertion bra shown here is the silhouette it’s best known for. This is just one of many different color combination offerings, which are updated every season.
