Photographer and fashion creative Renell Medrano unveiled her solo exhibition, 'Lambón,' this Friday, October 4th, in New York. The collection beautifully captures a diverse range of subjects with an authentic, artful lens, where style is ever-present yet feels effortless.

With “Lambón”, Medrano challenges the audience to reflect on their roles in the pursuit of creativity and its potential for exploitation and repetition, asking: “Will you be a leader, or a lambón?” In this context, “lambón” is a Dominican term meaning “suck-up”.

In summary, Medrano describes Lambón as “a celebration for the girls like me, the kids like me, the people like me.”

Lambón is on view at @wsanyc until November 2nd, 2024.

Spain-born Abraham Ortúno Perez has made a name f

Spain-born Abraham Ortúno Perez has made a name for himself as an avant-garde designer, known for his work on Loewe’s broken egg sandals and Jacquemus’s double-stacked kitten heels.

Perez presented his Spring 2025 collection during Paris Fashion Week under his own label, @abra_now Abra (short for Abraham), which he launched in 2020.

For this collection, Perez drew inspiration from the evolution of Hannah Montana into Miley Cyrus and the early 2000s teen show H2O: Just Add Water. The result was a playful line of clothing and accessories that exuded artful summer vibes.

Notable highlights included handbags and shoes inspired by everyday shopping bags, oversized thong sandals and a fringed Adidas Superstar sneaker silhouette in collaboration with Adidas Originals.

Perez’s Abra label stands out as one of fashion's rising talents to watch.
