Streetwear labels Chinatown Market and Pleasures have jumped in on the fun started by Ikea when the Swedish furniture company created a Frakta bag authenticity ad, poking fun at Balenciaga‘s $2,145 leather version of the shopping bag.
Now the two streetwear labels are offering a Ikea Frakta cap, which includes its own points of authenticity:
1. Wear it. If it crinkles, it’s the real deal.
2. Multifunctional. Other than keeping your head fitted, It can carry groceries, bricks and even water.
3. Throw it in the dirt. A true Frakta cap is simply rinsed off with a garden hose when dirty.
4. Price Tag: Only $38.
