Returning to Twitter‘s Spaces for a second day in a row on Sunday (September 5, 2021), Nicki Minaj (Onika Maraj-Petty) provided plenty of fashion and music-related tea for the Barbz. Minaj covered a wide array of topics including her interlude on Drake‘s new album, what goes into her providing a feature, her plans for fashion week and the future of “Queen Radio.” After taking the time to follow multiple call participants, Minaj described coming projects in 2021 as “epic.” She added, “This sh*t that I’m working right now is crazy and that’s why nobody can bring me down.”

Starting on the topic of music, Minaj described Ariana Grande as “my baby, child!” and added that “She might be the funniest person on text message. She be having me crying!”

Moving on to Certified Lover Boy album, Minaj said she doesn’t have a favorite single yet. When asked why she had an interlude on the album’s “Papi”s Home” single, but not a feature, she said, “What I’ll say without saying a lot is that it’s important for my album to be really really special. I think you guys understand, you follow where I’m going. I personally think, not saying it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have a full verse on there, I just think it might be more special to hold these little Dricky moments for my project, possibly.”

Minaj added that Drake sent her the song and she considered sending him back a verse but chose not to. “I’m not pushy like that,” she explained, “I never like to do too much with artists. I never like to be pushy, so I didn’t do that, but I was going to send a real crazy 12 bars back talking about these bitches is my f*cking sons!”

When asked abut Doja Cat‘s “Get Into It Yuh,” a single that shouts out Minaj and samples her 2010 song “Massive Attack,” she noted that she had been asked to contribute a feature but passed and asked for a second song. She noted, “If I don’t feel I can bring something unique to the record, I don’t want to do it anymore.” Adding more detail on the exchange with Doja (real name Amala Dlamini), she said were middle people involved in their communications, while she prefers working directly with artists as she did with BIA (real name  Bianca Landrau).

When asked if she plans to continue “Queen Radio,” Minaj hinted that the the talk should would continue but no longer on Apple Music. The 38-year-old creative explained, “Queen Radio is not done but it may have a new home.” When several fans suggested she take the show to Spotify, Minaj she chose not to comment.

Switching over to the topic of fashion, Minaj said she couldn’t say whether or not she would be attending New York Fashion Week. On whether she would ever do Vogue‘s “73 Questions” interview, she would only say, “Let’s see, let’s f*cking see!”

Minaj finished the interview and let it be know she’s looking for 100 Barbz to participate on a secret project. Minaj advised the group to figure out among themselves who should be chosen.

For fall winter 2025 KNWLS opted to forego a runwa For fall winter 2025 KNWLS opted to forego a runway show and present their collection in a styled lookbook.

Taking inspiration from a feminine Y2K aesthetic, the collection embodies designers Charlotte Knowles and Alexandre Arsenault’s ability to balance sexy and cool.

In an interview with Vogue, the pair shared that they are currently working on a new design director role in Europe and have several other projects in the pipeline, including another denim project, a collaboration with a jewelry brand, and a menswear capsule for an e-commerce site.

Commenting on the lookbook styling, they shared, "Obviously in the lookbooks it's styled in a quite extreme way, but if you break it down into individual pieces, we've been thinking about merchandising and the customer more than ever before," said Arsenault. "We've seen the team in the studio wearing the pieces differently too, and we've taken that into account. It's a nice challenge to say: 'Okay, we want to make a sweatshirt, but it still has this silhouette or wash or rib detail that makes it feel really Knwls."
